Meet Boris!

At 15 years young and a whopping 8.5 pounds, Boris is a tiny gentleman with a very big appreciation for snuggles. This adorable little fluffball, believed to be a Pug and Chihuahua mix, has one simple request for his forever family: please hold him like a baby and tell him how wonderful he is.

Boris is about as easygoing as they come. He's sweet, silly, and perfectly content to spend his days curled up in your arms or hanging out by your side. He's a professional cuddler who believes personal space is highly overrated. When he's not busy soaking up affection, Boris enjoys sniffing around outside and taking in all the exciting neighborhood smells. He's good with other dogs, does okay on a leash, and recently mastered going up and down the stairs. We're very proud of our little overachiever!

Like many distinguished seniors, Boris comes with a few medical quirks. He has a collapsed trachea that causes occasional coughing, as well as a cataract in one eye that is being treated with eye drops. He's also recovering from a flea-related skin infection and is currently taking prednisone. His itchiness and coughing have been making it difficult for him to sleep, but these concerns are being addressed.

Boris loves his people so much that being left alone can make him anxious. His ideal forever family would be home most of the time and happy to have a tiny, fluffy shadow following them around. A fenced-in yard would be a wonderful bonus for his sniffing adventures, but it's not a requirement. With his low energy and love of lounging, Boris isn't asking for much. Just a cozy home, plenty of affection, and someone who appreciates the finer things in life, like holding an 8.5-pound dog like a newborn baby.

If you've been looking for a sweet, funny little companion who wants nothing more than to love you and be loved in return, Boris is ready to apply for the position. He promises to take his cuddling responsibilities very seriously.
