Meet Hayleigh! Hayleigh is a crimped hair queen straight out of an Olan Mills 1998 studio in a strip mall. She has the hair, the ‘tude, the general energy of someone who definitely had a pager and was emotionally invested in Melrose Place. Hayleigh came to Miri's after her loving human passed away, and she's adjusting well to all the change.

With her experience living in a home, Hayleigh is move-in ready. She's good on a leash, housetrained, trustworthy when left home alone, and sleeps quietly through the night (preferably in your bed). She's good with other dogs and older kids.

Her exercise needs are minimal, but her snuggling needs are high. She loves to be with her humans, so she prefers to have someone home with her most of the time. She's a little stiff in her hips and has some knee issues, so she prefers to be carried up and down the stairs, like the queen that she is. She's on a non-prescription joint supplement to help with her pain.

Hayleigh is generally a pretty slow-moving dog, but when her humans get home she comes scampering right up (if she isn't already napping right by the back door). She will sometimes lock eyes with her human, with the most tender expression on her face. Hayleigh has a marvelous temperament and is sure to bring a smile to faces wherever she goes. She's easy to care for and easier to love!

Hayleigh is approximately 13 years old and 12 lbs.
