Meet Enzo! Enzo has one major requirement for his forever home: please be obsessed with him. Don’t worry, he plans to return the favor.

Enzo is a loving, affectionate little guy who wants nothing more than to be close to his people. He loves cuddles, pets, sleeping beside his person, going for walks, and hanging out with small canine friends. When he's especially happy to see his favorite people, he'll even jump for joy.

Enzo is a smart boy who thrives on routine. He quickly learns his walking routes and will even let you know when he's ready to head home. He had a few accidents his first night in foster care, but once he learned the schedule and knew when his outdoor potty breaks were coming, he did great.

More than anything, Enzo needs a family who understands how important his people are to him. He becomes very anxious when left alone and does not do well crated, so his ideal adopter will be home most of the time or able to bring him along for adventures. He would also do best with another dog in the home and would love a calm, predictable environment where he can feel safe and secure.

Enzo can be selective with men. When he's uncomfortable, he may freeze, bark, growl, nip, or try to herd them, so he'll need slow introductions and people who are willing to respect his boundaries while he gets comfortable. Cats and children are still unknown.

Enzo is currently being treated for Lyme disease with a 30-day course of doxycycline. He sees and hears well, has a moderate energy level, and can handle a few stairs but not a full staircase. He's also a bit of a picky eater who currently enjoys wet food and freeze-dried treats.

Enzo isn't looking for a part-time friendship. He wants to be your tiny shadow, couch buddy, walking companion, bedtime snuggler, and very best friend. Give him patience, consistency, and plenty of love, and Enzo will happily return it tenfold.

Lorenzo is approximately 9 years old and 15 lbs.
