Meet Ms. Ham! And yes, she absolutely lives up to her name.

Ham is an 8-to-10-year-old English Bulldog with a big personality, an even bigger love for belly rubs, and absolutely no problem spending most of her day horizontal. Bed, couch, cool hard floor, sunny patch of grass... Ham isn't picky as long as she can get comfortable.

This goofy girl is everything you could want in a Bulldog. She snores, snorts, occasionally lets out a fart, and even "talks" in her sleep. She also has an adorable gummy underbite that leaves her tongue permanently peeking out. When she's awake, one of her favorite activities is staring deeply into your soul until you understand that yes, she would like a belly rub now. She'll happily roll onto her back to receive one, although getting herself upright afterward is sometimes another story.

Ham is low-energy, treat-motivated, and perfectly content to snooze the day away. She enjoys rolling around in the yard, bath time, and accompanying her humans to the bathroom in case they require supervision. She's fine when left home alone and does okay on leash.

Ham currently lives with a larger dog and does okay with them, but she has shown some mild resource guarding around food. She's easily redirected, but we think this queen would be perfectly happy soaking up all the attention as the only dog in her forever home. Her history with cats and younger children is unknown, although she has done well with older children and adults.

Like many Bulldogs, Ham comes with a little maintenance. She is currently being treated for skin/allergy issues and yeasty ears and will likely need ongoing allergy management, including medicated baths. She also has the typical snorts and snores that come with her short snout.

Ham is looking for a family who appreciates the finer things in life: snacks, naps, belly rubs, quirky Bulldog noises, and having a 45-pound shadow nearby. Give this silly girl a comfortable place to land and plenty of love, and she'll happily spend her retirement making you laugh.

Ms. Ham is approximately 10 years old and 45 lbs.
