Gary's BIO:
Meet Gary! Gary is a 12-year-old Chihuahua with one simple goal in life: to be wherever you are.
This sweet little guy is the definition of a Velcro dog, happily following his people from room to room and making sure he's always part of the action. If you're looking for a loyal shadow who will shower you with kisses, Gary is ready to apply for the job.
Gary is low-energy and happiest curled up in a cozy spot beside his humans or canine friends. He absolutely loves other dogs and will need a home with at least one doggie companion to keep him company. His foster says he even grooms one of the other Chihuahuas like a cat! In a surprising twist for such a little dog, Gary also enjoys swimming.
Gary thrives in a home where someone is around most of the time. He struggles with being left alone and currently takes medication to help with separation anxiety. Gary is not leash-trained, so he will need a securely fenced yard where he can safely explore. He is mostly house trained and uses pee pads inside the home.
Aside from a cyst on his back that needs to be removed, Gary sees, hears, and gets around well. More than anything, he's looking for a family that will give him plenty of affection, comfortable places to nap, and lots of kisses—because he'll be giving plenty right back.
If you're searching for a sweet, affectionate companion who wants nothing more than to be part of your pack, Gary can't wait to meet you.
Gary is approximately 12 years old and 11 lbs.
