Talia's BIO:
Meet Talia! Talia is a champion snuggler and professional ballerina who loves showing off her dance moves in exchange for attention and snacks. She has gorgeous wispy bangs, supermodel long legs, and a whole lot of personality.
Talia arrived at Miri's Haven with the sweetest eyes and a quiet gentleness. It appears that she likely spent part of her life having puppies, but those days are behind her now. From here on out, Talia gets to be the one who is cared for, spoiled, and reminded every day that she is someone's beloved little dog.
Now that she's settled in, Talia's personality has fully blossomed. She is cuddly, smart, and very well-mannered with just enough terrier sprinkled in to keep things interesting. She loves attention, snuggling on the couch, going for walks, and tagging along on adventures. While she is a social butterfly who loves being with her people, she's equally happy finding a cozy bed to curl up in if they're busy. Talia would be perfectly happy joining a pack of other chill dogs or being someone's one and only princess.
.
While she's generally chill, Talia is still a terrier, which means she has opinions. She firmly believes she deserves the last word in every conversation and on a moody day she can become quite offended that those pesky neighbor dogs have the audacity to stand in their own yard, minding their own business. Food is also very much her love language. If you drop so much as a molecule of cheese, Talia will attempt to somehow intercept it before gravity finishes its job. She eats from a slow feeder because otherwise shed inhale dinner and then start looking for second dinner. She also has a spectacular talent for jumping, so keeping food and drinks off coffee tables and nearby surfaces is strongly recommended - and she might enjoy some agility work in her forever home!
Talia does not like storms, so she'll appreciate a little extra reassurance when the weather turns dramatic. And while she is housetrained, if there are other dogs in her new home, she may mark for a few days while she settles in and will benefit from wearing a diaper during that transition. She has a low-grade heart murmur but doesn't need any medication for it right now. All the doctor has prescribed is a family who will give her plenty of affection, regular walks, fun adventures, and the structure and routine she thrives on.
If you're looking for a sweet little Yorkie with just enough sass to keep you entertained, Talia is your girl. She spent enough of her life taking care of everyone else. Now she's ready for someone to finally take care of her.
Talia is approximately 8 years old and 12 lbs.
