Wendell's BIO:
Meet Wendell!
Wendell has just returned from the groomer, via the vet for a little nip and tuck, but still looking and feeling fabulous. Now his plans are to find multiple tennis balls in the yard, have a short but meaningful nose conversation with his neighbor Sven-the sheep herder, and, last but not least, ask the neighborhood to come over and play. Meanwhile, it's time for a short nap!
Wendell loves kids and adults and wants to be friends with everyone he meets. He is an accomplished escape artist, you will need a secure home and yard! He can sneak through gaps as small as two inches and jump as high as three feet.
Wendell is working on his housetraining but does well with belly bands in the house. He can hold it overnight, and, if you let him out every 2 hours, he can keep a dry diaper He rides well in the car, loves to snuggle, and can be left alone without getting into trouble, though he will bark or whine for a little while.
His ideal home would have a fenced yard (he hasn't figured out the whole leash situation yet), another dog for company, lots of walks and snuggle time, and a consistent routine. Wendell has plenty of energy for yard and play time. He would enjoys playing with other dogs.
Wendell sees and hears well and is very mobile. He has Cushing's disease, which he manages with daily doses of Vetoryl.
Wendell is approximately 7 years old and 6 lbs.
Fostered in Edinburgh, VA
